Hello everybody
This week in the exciting adventures of little Schmoo and her bouncing and rather ill sidekick- Commander tigger we have our trusty pair fighting the demons of shift swap and alcohol abuse.
After a long and gruelling week our pair let their colloquial hair down (The Commander having no hair and Little Schmoo got a haircut to look like Halle Berry - without the looks but infinitely more style and of course less hair). After a 108 hour week (yes I only work `40 hour` weeks and technically this week was 11 days) we hit the nightlife which is always adventuresome in Japan with FUTURE bar the space age karaoke where the selector gizmo really looks like something from star trek much to our little pairs delight (imagine singing and dancing in the deep decks of the enterprise with an old fashioned tricorder straight out of Spocks hands and you get the picture).
Of course after a poor and rather drunken version of `barbie girl` our pair decided to attempt to cycle home, luckily I bought a helmet and although I must be the only peron in my prefecture to wear a helmet I feel much braver with it on. Fret not mum with a helmet I am invincible... well maybe.
As for the demons of shift swap a #$"$(&% BEEP BEEP BEEP... I have been shafted by a fellow workmate who will not cover my weekend swap (even though I have already worked his half) This swap being for Saturday and all swaps must be organised 3 days in advance (today is Wed). None the less my charms paid off when the big boss stepped in and `fixed things`. I am still off to Korea in a few days. (happy happy joy joy dance now).

Otherwise due to overwork I have not traversed these great lands for a week or so but we all need a week off to ready ourselves for the great South Korean experience.
I shant return until after my Korean excursion, sometime next week.
