I have two housemates who seem fine alecia is 21 and been here since february and has managed to show me the ropes (ie the buses, alien registration etc) and tina is 30ish and been here since may and has just extended her contract for another 6 months. Today tina was going to come into town with me but she went out wildly partying last night and didn`t get home until 7am so I decided to come in on my own. I live it what would normally be called suburbia excepot that it is just less units and more single level parking rather than anything else.
I am off to check out a castle today in oita city and tomorrow i havbe my induction about 2 hours away in a large (international airport terminal) city with lots of castles so that`ll be fun.

well i made it. a little tired and exhausted but all chocolated up. there was this hot chocolate that you can buy in singapore airport (about 4.50AU) that was served in the sort of glass that brings to mind buxom german waitresses during Oktoberfest. AND it was all nice and warm and frothy and yum and mine, after 8 hours of flying and 3 and a half hours in transit i appreciated the whole thing... tigger was jealous.
none the less i survived the 28 odd hours of 2 planes 3 airports and 4 trains (oh and one taxi) to make it to my accomadation. both housemates work evening shifts so they didn`t arrive until later.
i managed to find food, although that was an adventure in itself... miso soup and hokkien noodles was taxing the extent of my Japanese vocabulary. anyhow live long and prosper...until next blog.

Little Schmoo and Tigger depart at 3ish on wednesday 23rd from sydney airport. (I hope...)
anyway so goodbye to all. Am still experiencing issues with the guest book (what guest book I hear you ask???)
