Little Schmoo has slowly been fading away - actually thats an overstatement, I have a mild cold so I`ve been remaining indoors wrapped up like a huge grub in tigger pjs and a dressing gown with ginger tea and a few classy star trek books, or not so classy as the case may be.

Mostly life is revolving around reading, eating, sleeping and of course working, I am half way throgh a 12 day week as I appear to be only mildly ill other teachers have not fared so well but there is exciting news.
3 new boy staff members to replace the three girls that left. Rob and James are American and Jatinder is British. Jatinder and Rob have started working and I am yet to meet James.
At the end of November our branch is losing another staff member and I will officially be the second longest serving member of our branch. Which I find mildly disconcerting. None the less I have now been fully trained in pretty much everything that we do and apparently I seem to do well at it so thats all good.

Anyway the overtime I`m doing is sending me to Bosotn for a white christmas thanks to some lovely American I know over there so I`m quite excited about going even if the organising of flights is giving me grey hair.
Talking about grey hair a student was asked my age the other day and he quickly replied that I was about 32. I suddenly feel very very old. mind you I was younger than the student....
It would appear that grey hair is rare in young Japanese and funnily enough now ALL the dye is gone from my hair for the first time in many years, you can easily see more than a dozen strands of grey on the jet black hair. Old before my time, I need to get some hair dye!!!
well thats all the updates from sunny but cool Autumn in Oita.
live long and prosper.
